Before coaching with Jessica, I struggled with self-discipline when it comes to nutrition – more specifically controlling my sweet tooth! Living a very busy lifestyle, I tend to take short cuts and miss meals which led to unhealthy choices when I was feeling very hungry. Then Jessica helped me come up with some strategies to make it a little easier to choose healthy options that were very easy to implement without sacrificing my enjoyment of food. The 3 most significant results I’ve experienced from coaching with Jessica have been a game changer for me. I’ve stopped running in to the local gas station on my way home to grab a sweet snack, that was a habit that needed to be cut out! I am more deliberate and mindful of the snack choices I am making throughout the day – gum is all I really need to satisfy that craving! Most importantly, Jessica taught me that I am capable of making any changes that I want to – with the right motivation and accountability, anyone can implement healthier habits. Before I began coaching with Jessica, I struggled with listening to my inner guidance and trusting myself. Jessica related a really good story about how she taught her kids to listen to their “inner being” which got shortened into their “jelly bean” and adding humor to the situation made it more memorable and relatable.
We discussed the importance of relying on your “jelly bean” and getting still and listening as it won’t guide you wrong.
The most significant results that I’ve experienced from working with Jessica is to do the necessary inner work, and she taught me several techniques, including mirror work and setting small, manageable goals that were realistic and achievable.
What I loved most about working with Jessica was her easy approach, her relatability and how easy she is to talk to. I felt very comfortable and safe with her and we had some pretty interesting open-heart conversations that helped me tremendously.
